There's one somewhere in my review pile :)

Any chance of seeing it come up soon? (Curious about that 85% Efficiency rating...)

Not sure. To be honest, there are quite a few ahead of it.

I guess it's just another Ikonik...

Could it do 1kW without going nuts then?

It's Fuhjyyu, and I don't see any on there, from what I can tell. I do see a bunch of OST's and Teapo's throughout, with the primary being a United Chemi-Con.

Ah all i coudl see is blue caps.. those remind me of Fuhjyyu.. So good caps in general.

No, the blue ones aren't Fuhjyyus. I'm not to sure what they are; at first glance I thought they where Hitachis, but upon further inspection I don't think they are anymore.

Looking at some of the other pics, it seems that the majority of the caps are from Chemi-Con.

The blue caps are Mucon MX series. I swear they're not Fuhjyyus.
The solid caps on VRM cards are Chin-San(Elite).

Chin-san....looks like a anagram for Shin Chan

THey have managed to block 2/3 of the rear now instead of just half. Awesome.

It's a prototype unit CWT made one year ago. They made about ten units for safety/EMC certification. Purple boards are made for HiPer.

I was TOTALLY WRONG. Orz

NCC + TRec, it's a Sirtec unit, but it looks like a PSH.

Actually that is a Sirfa APS-1000C. I have seen two of that exact Sirfa model pop up now for review in my hands, hence the PM earlier.

What's the difference between Sirfa and Sirtec models?
I can't find significant differences due to their relationship in the past.
Sirtec unit has a dirty marking on the transformer, is that all?

Well Sirfa was a manufacturing plant for Sirtec so I would guess not a whole lot designwise given it has only beena few months. But that unit is a Sirfa model and not a Sirtec as in Sirtec isn't making it or selling it but could well have designed it. Sirfa probably took the design (among others) with them when Sirtec sold them off.

Caps I saw from the Chinese site:
Chemicon KY
NCC Primary
Teapo
OST
Dunno regarding the polymer caps. Definitely not UCC PSA series.

The 'CS' marking is 'Chin-San', the company's name of Elite caps.

I remember having seen a unit like this earlier and I manage to dig it out, here it is, Lian Li Silent Force 850W (http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/2008/11/13/lian-li-silent-force-850w-psu/4).

They're almost identical inside. I don't know whether it's a "Sirfa" or "Sirtec" but I guess it's an existing Sirtec design.
