I'm new here. Hi to all.

System Phenom 9650, Asus M3A78, EAH-3870, DDR2-667 1G X 2, Seagate 500GB and Cooler Master real power M700 in CM690 case with some 1800RPM fans with a fan controller. No overclocking. The moment I put everything together I notice in the bias the 12V rail read only 11.8V. I was thinking the things I'm using cannot be loading that much. Must be something wrong right. So I started to unplug suspecting something shorting or something. But I later found out even with the bare minimum it still reads 11.8V in the bias. Wrote to cooler master and there answer was if the system works then its OK. Some casual answer that was. So what do you guys think?

Regards
Chris

Check it with a DMM - you can't count on BIOS or software ;)

The spec is +/-5% so if 11.8v is right it is well within specification.
