Let's say you wanted to try out a Noctua, Scythe or Nexus fan inside your PSU, which brand power supplies allows you to easilly connect a 120mm without using a soldering iron? (I mean built-in 3 or 4 pin adapter.)

Of all the PSUs that use a connector rather then soldering the wires to the PCB, most if not all use a 2 pin mini connector. Now you don't have to do any soldering. You can cut teh connecto off the stock fan and splice it onto the cable for the new fan and wrap it with electrical tape. Note advisable. Or you could take the fan out of an old PSU to use its connecto to create your own adapter. Then all you need is a 3 pin to molex adapter to get the needed 3 pin connector.

PSU fans don't have tach wires. If there's a third wire, it's usually PWM. If you don't want to solder, cut and splice with butt connectors or something.
You can buy a 99 cent adaptor (http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=34_289&zenid=bba1b9f07cba102760ee6c94f42bcf34)

lol, that's cool. :)
Well, can anyone name some brand name power supply manufacturers that have those 2 pin connectors inside their PSUs? I thinking some companies that make the 120mm models like Corsair, Seasonic, Fortron, any company like that.
