Let me start off by thanking everyone here in helping decide on the Corsair HX520! It is a great PSU and I am extremely happy with it!

I now have another question...

My friend wants/needs to upgrade his PSU from the one that came with his case. He has a SLI mobo and will be purchasing a 8800 video card and eventually a 2nd one.

He came over when I was installing my HX520 and loved it. We both love the modular/flex force cables as well as the 5 yr warranty. He wants to know if the HX620 will be sufficient to run 2 8800's in SLI...

Any info / help will be greatly appreciated!

It really depends on whatelse he has in his build. But with two PCI-e connectors each card, he'd have to use Molex to PCI-e adapters. He may want to consider getting a PSU with four PCI-e connectors on it.

I will let him know. I know he, as would I, is worried about dropping $145 on a PSU that would need to replaced yet again if SLI is to be used.

Thanks for the quick reply. Sometimes I think your phone must ring when someone posts here =o) The JonnyGURU bat signal =o)

Silverstone 750w at Deadeyedata (http://deadeyedata.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=7_33&products_id=102&visitor_code=JONNYGURU):) I think their Silverstone PSUs are 8% off for JonnyGuru members.
