I have read many of the reviews on these PSU from here, SPCR etc

I realize all are excellent in there own right

~50A on 12v rail, quiet, good performance ...in my price range

I need a bit of futureproofing:confused: on the PSU from my OCZ 520W..I want a quiet efficient PSU

Looking for a good PSU aroun ~$150
ZZF has the Corair for $153-$10 rebate
S12 650w from ewiz $147

My new setup:
C2D e6600 hoping to get 3400-3600(OCYMMV..I am understand that)
new mobo RD600/680i?
2 x ddr2 Crucial 10th anniv
probably a X1900XT
2 HDD Seagate 320gb 7200.10 and 200gb 7200.8
X-Fi music
Benq DVDRW
Sunbeam fan controller
WCing setup..DDC ultra or MCP655 pump, Panaflo 120x38mm fan @7v on PA160rad, 120mmfan and Crab dual 40mm over PWMIC, 2 rear exhaust fans(2 x 120mm Coolermaster fans one is LED)

My question is the Corsair (and I would assume the Seasonics too) get fair ripple at heavy load(I may never exceed this.. everyone has bashed the OCZ Gamexstremes for outspec ripple)..I doubt I will ever go CF or SLI..not a huge gamer

wont this Ripple cause issues as GPU need more amps with an overclocked setup(I test use 100% in P95 for stablity)

Jesus $513 for the Corsair, I could send you one from the UK miles cheaper than that.

Get the Seasonic no competition at that price difference, where in the world do you live?

Oh well at $135 it's a good buy isn't it? I have the Corsair 620HX and it's quiet and stable, I personaly like the modular cables maybe not everyones taste but they are easy to work with and make the case neater.

I just swapped out a OCZ Gamextream 700 for the Corsair and I think the Corsair is better suited to me, certainly quieter than the OCZ, but surely the Seasonic should be as quiet as the Cosair?

sorry..I missed type ZZF has the Corsair $153-10 MIR=$143 shipped grnd free..I saw no placing charging $135 when googled

Ewiz has the Seasonic S12+ 650 for $147 grnd free shipping

Modular looks really nice..hate the extra cables

Noise wise the S12+ is supposedly very good as per SPCR(though it is loud underload)

Cable length maybe an issue with my P180 as well..with all 3 PSU's

My big concern is power for upgrades in next 2ys..my OCZ 520W Powerstream has done great...but the newer DX10 cards look very power hungry??
