I'm getting ready to order a new power supply very soon and wanted your opinions on the two units I have listed. I've been trying to decide for a week which to get and I would appreciate your thoughts. Thanks

Both are good units. I'd pick the Corsair over the F (maybe cheaper). If you are getting the 750 series, why not go for the ZF instead of the F? The ZF's are better than the Striders.

I also would go for the HX620 over the ST750F;)
Unless you go $210 for the Zeus vs. $190 for the Strider
The Zeus will more then make up the price difference being a overall better
choice then any of your other picks;)

Thanks for the fast replies. The Corsair I can get for $150, the Silverstone for $135. Don't care for the ZF as I'm trying to keep things REAL quiet. The ZF is only $20 more so should I consider it? Thanks again

If your looking for quiet, the HX620 is your best bet;)
That's a great price too.
I'd pay the extra $20 for the ZF. It shouldn't be that much louder. I'll bet it's a thermally controlled fan. Which means, if you're not loading it up too badly, it'll remain pretty quiet. That, and it's an Etasis unit, which, while it only has a single 80, is pretty quiet.

Yeah, my 850 is "almost" silent, I can't call it loud tho;)

Okay I read a $hit load of reviews. How can one unit supply 50 @ 12 volts be considered inferior to another unit suppling 54@12 ? I understand construction and build costs . But this doesn't seem right? I'll probably order the Corsair 620, yet the Strider supplies more amps? Not doubting you guys but how can a 80 mm fan compete with a 120 mm for silence? Thanks Again

I ordered the Corsair 620 from ZZF. Hopefully it'll serve me well. Thanks for the replies, I really appreciate them.

Because there's more to a PSU than just output.

Then you don't understand. ;) It's build quality! :D

An 80MM fan can't. The 120MM is always going to be quieter. And although the Strider "puts out more amps" even the Corsair is better build quality.
