I need a DTS decoder for Vista's Media Center. Anybody know of a good one, preferably for cheap (if not a free one)? My Audigy2 ZS Platinum can do DTS, but I'm not getting any audio in Media Center when I select DTS (Dolby Surround works fine, though), so I think I need a decoder to get the data to the sound card.

ahh, possibly vista's changed that, read a vista manual for dts, I recall there may have been a design decision for some bizarre reason

I have an X-Fi Prelude and it decodes DTS in Vista with Cyberlink PowerDVD but it won't decode it in XP for some odd reason.

It does DTS in Vista Media Center? I'm not really looking to use another media player for the video aspect, as I really like Vista Media Center.

Honestly though, it doesn't really matter if I can't get DTS to work with it. DTS's main plus (for me) over Dolby Digital (which does work) is that the bass is a bit more powerful. But since I have this set of Boston Acoustics BA-7900 speakers, and don't normally push the sub past half power (it shakes the foundation at high power levels), I can always just push a little more power to the sub.

I have no clue as to whether it decodes DTS in media center, I installed a different DVD decoder which took over the DVD duties in media center.
