Hello!

I am currently taking a look at an Apevia power supply the Iceberg 680W and I am having some trouble with it. Unlike other Apevia (Asspire) units this is not made by YongYear, the UL number on the board points to Eversun Electronics which is based out of either California or China... my money is on China :P. I was wondering what you guys knew about this company?

Primary stage caps are Koshin, secondary are Fuhjyyu and whoever the heck Y.C is.

Thanks everyone!

That's a new one to me, but considering it's an Aspire and that lovely complement of caps in it, I don't get a real strong sense of reliability from it ;)

I have one.....

Trust me... it's a Youngyear. ;)

That UL number you see on the PCB is the UL for the manufacturer of the PCB.

When you cross reference UL #'s, PLEASE note what category comes up. You'll note that Eversun is listed under ZPMV2.E250664
Wiring, Printed - Component, in other words... they manufacture PCB's.

Ahh I missed that part! Thanks Jonny!

When I opened it up, I imediatly reconized that it looked identical to the Beast cept for the different heatsinks.

Yup. Same here. I saw it and the first thing I thought was, "Oh look. An Aspire Beast with a clear cover!"
