@Hardware Secrets (http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/551/1).
Amazing PSU. I'm really impressed.
Wow! What a power supply! We could not only deliver its labeled 525 W power at 50º C but also maintained efficiency between 85% and 90% all the time! In fact this is the power supply with the highest efficiency we reviewed so far. Not only that. We could pull almost 600 W from this unit still with 85% efficiency. That is impressive.
The fan used on this power supply is extremely quiet even when it was running at its full speed. In fact this was the quietest power supply we reviewed to date.
Enermax steal the crown from Corsair for one of the best consumer PSU's?
LE: OW I'm eager to see your review for Pro/Modu82+.

But will these suffer early death syndrom?

I'm curious who the manufacturer/designer is. Is it an Enermax in-house?

Yep, Enermax manufacture their PSU's.

Not if they continue to blow up.

Enermax almost always seem to load test very well, but then after a year or so...boom!

Yeah, I know that, but I understand that they've changed all design, including PFC circuitry.
I hope for a comeback from Enermax if this series survive more than a year. :D

With an ass-backwards cable layout and serious reliability problems, no way.
I get a bit frustrated seeing power supplies being reviewed as being able to output above their stated wattage. While you and I may know that running a power supply close to peak output isn't wise, many readers will not. You have no idea how many times we will now see people saying "but my Enermax isn't a 525W power supply, it's a 600W uber monster". :wall:

Only to find out that it blows up in a month instead of a year? ;)

Paul, you're right, they design their PSU's.
Rusty English, sorry.
SKYMTL, it's just a test with overwattage. At least that's how I look at it.
Nade, let's wait and see after one year. :)

Well anyone saying that would have as much or more right to say that, as Ultra has to call the X2 Extreme Edition a 750 Watt PSU.
Then again, the people who don't know any better will also be looking at reviews that use a system that will only pull 280 Watts to review a PSU and then marvel over the fact that the voltage regulation is within spec (sometimes even when the voltages drop out of spec).
I personally like to see a review that tests a PSU beyond its rated output.

Do we have to wait that long:

That reminds me, with my own review on one of those in the works, I've had this strange desire to add a few tests to that one. There are all these fancy buttons on the front of the SunMoon I haven't had much use for yet...
