Hey guys,

Been looking at this PSU here
http://pcmaniacs.com.au/vantec-ion2-ultra-quiet-450w-135mm-p-4264.html

Specs seem fantastic for a PSU that price(for reference, its a little over half a VX-450 in Aus), but as we all know specs is one thing, actual performance is another.

I am not interested in the PSU myself, but have been asked about it several times, and wondering if it is worth recommending for low budget builds, etc.(eg. compared to a 380W Antec Earthwatts)

I have been searching for info but couldn't find anything, does anyone know anything about this PSU? OEM?

Thanks.

It seems (http://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/showthread.php?p=29690546#post29690546) that it's an Andyson.
IMO I'll stick with EA380.

It seems like he wasn't asking to replace his EA380. Just asking if it's a decent option.

I'd like to see a decent review of it myself. Someone in that thread said it's similar to a Type R or an Aerocool, but this is a much newer version than those.

If I understand correct he have an NeoHE 380 and he was asking for a comparison between EA380 and Vantec, that's why I said I'll stick with EA380, but I'm a Seasonic fan. :D
