View Full Version : Which one is better Silverstone/Thermaltake?

Hi all,

I am in the stage of upgrading my Silverstone ST85ZF to
a Silverstone ZU or ZM 1200w or Thermaltake ToughPower 1200w?
It will be gaming machine.

Any thoughts would be great

My Specs look like this

Nvidia 8600GT (upgrade to a SLI the new GT200)

Both are excellent choices, but if the budget permits, i'll go with the new 1.2 Kw Zeus from Impervio, the 12v rail ripple supression seems a bit better compared with that Toughpower. They will power two GT200 without breaking any sweat i believe -unless you go LN crazy with your rig.

But talking about overkill, a Zeus 850w powering a 8600 GT -even if it's in SLI ? LOL. :D

I believe Oklahoma Wolf said that he would be doing a review of the Zeus 1200 Watt. Doesn't it have a 80mm fan though? Maybe consider the Corsair HX1000 or OCZ EliteXstream 1000 Watt.

That one's a few reviews in the future yet. Yes, that one is 80mm fanned.

What about the Ultra X3 1000W? It has gotten very good reviews.
