by Paul (http://enthusiast.hardocp.com/article.html?art=MTQ4MiwxLCxoZW50aHVzaWFzdA==).
It has excellent voltage regulation, excellent efficiency, and is the quietest power supply we have tested to date.
At the same time though it has some blemishes that keep this unit from being the absolute best it could be including its Transient response, and parts of its actual assembly (as the component selection was excellent).
Bottom line
when this unit is good it is so good it we would be remiss if we did not recommend the MODU82+ 625w to users looking for a good performing, quiet, modular power supply in this output range.
Thanks alot Paul, from your review, SKYMTL's and SPCR's is clearly that new series Modu82+ and Pro82+ are damn good PSU's.

didn't all reviews of Liberty PSUs also show them to be great when tested though? Yet their failure rate after a year has become relatively high.

Yep, but now they've changed their caps
All in all, this primary side looks considerably different from the primary’s featured in the Infiniti and Liberty units of past.
The primary is stocked with equally high end Matushita capacitors
Enermax has jettisoned the CEC International Holdings Limited capacitors that we have seen in previous models on the secondary and replaced them with some much higher end Nippon Chemi-con capacitors.
Looks good to me. :)

I don't think the failure rate of the Liberty units has anything to do with their caps, and everything to do with the design of the PFC section, as they mostly seem to die on the primary side.

Right. I've yet to see an Enermax die due to a cap related failure. Almost always on the primary side.

Wolf: That Infiniti I reviewed a while back has finally failed. Maybe you could do an autopsy and update the review?

If they are using the same design as the liberty's and Infiniti's, these new units may have the same problems. Cap upgrades are good, but I don't know if they can alleviate fundamental design issues.

Noisewise they look pretty good. But alas, there are no places that stock Enermaxes in my country. Well, I found one place that had the 400W Liberty, that's it. I'll stick with the Corsairs I guess, but not really a problem for me.

The PFC is different (they are keeping it in stand by rather than charging with the Mothra in a bug zapper), and the primary side has a different circuit design.

I, too, want to know what caused the death, looking forward to the autopsy! If there is a specific one thing that keeps making them fail and they fix that, they would be great supplies (liberty/Infiniti/etc), right?
