Local PC store is now stocking them and am tempted as they are discounted already by 25%.

Anyone know anything about them.

Here's the 1100w version on NewEgg. Really colourful :)
I believe it's tri sli certified as well I think. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817814012

I don't know for certain but if that unit is the same base unit as the ITZ1300 I reviewed or not....but I think it is IIRC. You can see that review here: http://www.hardocp.com/article.html?art=MTM5MCwsLGhlbnRodXNpYXN0

It probably is.

It would be a decent 1100W PSU... not like you'd need a > 1100W PSU no matter what you tell me you have in your PC, so if 25% off makes it a price that's in line with most other 1000W PSU's, I'd buy it.

Must take another look at it. The marketing blurb says it quad gpu ready, it's got 2 6pin PCIe cables, 2 8pin PCIe cables...and believe it or not another 2 6pin PCIe cables for Physx, and a VGA 4pin cable. What's up with that ? Seems like overkill to me.

I have seen the 1000w Toughpower for the same price though. Hmmm..

That sounds about right. It's supposedly three way SLI ready. Thermaltake 1000W or Tagan 1300W at same price??? Hmm.... be almost a toss up.
