A guy is considering buying one of the Coolermaster 600 watt series supplies. I don't know enough about them but that it seems you all here think they are passably ok at least, right? I couldn't find reviews on his model during a quick search.
Is there a lack of reviews of CM supplies, and might we see some soon?

Crap.... We have a Cooler Master 600W review in the queue to be converted to the new site format. Just haven't gotten around to it.
It's pretty much a SevenTeam 500W labeled as a 600W. It's not efficient and the 500W is rated at 25°C. The de-rating curve makes it a 375W at 40°C. Not the best thing out there.

Ah, so worse than my impression was. Gee, that is too bad, CM is such a good maker of other stuff. I LOVE my stacker case, for instance. That's a shame, I was hoping they made stuff that was for the budget blinded buyer who just won't invest in a good supply and only wants a passably decent one. I guess they aren't it. Looks like I'd be suggesting Antec first (yuch). Thanks Jonny. Hope it ain't too cold up there in Chi town tonight!
Some Seventeam builds are pretty decent though, right?
With that question asked, how *would* you guys rate the OEMs?
Who is the best ever OEM? #2? 3? 4? 5? Is Seasonic in the top three there?
Yeah, I know that being an OEM doesn't *necessarily* mean good or bad quality, but the mean or average of what they produce for various companies is what I am aiming at here. I am still unclear what OEMs suxors and which are good guys. Like, CWT, most of what they make is pretty good, right? So they should be on that list?

Correct, if the PSU is an Extreme Power
If it's iGreen Power 600W, then it's a very decent unit built by Acbel

Right. Sorry. I just assumed it was an eXtreme Power 600W.

Yes, some are very good, the unit that the CM Extreme series is based off is quite a crappy, old model afaik.

Crap, I've got one of those. :(
Ah well, my total cost (assuming I receive the rebate check - already got email confirmation so looks good) would be under $10, shipping and stamp included. Guess that isn't too bad for a 350W PSU, is it?

The Real Power Pro are made by Enhance are they not?

The 850W and above models are made by Enhance, the 750W under lower Real Power Pro/M's are Acbel's.
