I know this isn't one of the more detailed reviews around and some of the claims by the reviewer are waaaayyyy out there but there are a few gems in this review I think you guys will get a kick out of:

First of all one of the major cons I ran into during testing was that when I first started up my system. One of my hard drives got fried.

Secondly, the second minor con that I don’t like is that the power supply sometimes is making a high pitch noise, or a hissing sound.

Good times all around it sounds like.

Sounds like the big-bang theory is holding true for Raidmax units these days...or is that flash-bang?

I've got one of these sitting here and I will be using a BLANK hard drive with a fresh install of Windows to test it with..... ;)

OH, here is the review (http://www.mikhailtech.com/Reviews/Sigma/Shark_SP-635/page5)

The Voltages are higher on the Shark and therefore you computer should be more stable. Although the voltages might be higher than the specified rail voltages, but it’s such a small value that it should not damage your hardware. Higher voltages ensure that you will be able to use more hardware than what I have in my system at the moment, and you should still be ok.

The inside of that thing doesn't look too bad... not like a Raidmax that comes with a case. Can't quite finger the actual OEM, but I do like the car-amp type housing and dual 80MM fans. The sleeving on the cables looks very well done too.

Like I said: waaaayyyy out there comments by the reviewer. One thing that caught my eye about the interior is the cap (is it a Teapo?) to the left of the heatsink that seems to be levitating. Gotta love when a cap comes with a free order of stilts. ;)

UL traces back to Raidtronics which isn't surprising considering that Sigma is basically Raidmax with a pretty dress on...

Caps are often put on extended insulated legs if they need to go into a tight space.

The UL of Raidtronics doesn't surprise me either as I already knew that Sigma was Raidmax, but even Raidmax has been made by Andyson, Topower, etc. in the past.
