Hello to you all, I recently bought an ati 1950Pro (still using the old AGP interface) and mu PC started shutting down whenever I put it under some load, so I returned it, but the firm replied that my current power supply cant handle it... so here I am looking for new one.

My current PSU is Fortron 400W, worked nicely a month (than I bought the VGA Card and it started rebooting). The local vendors offer the following models, that I can afford:

THERMALTAKE TOUGHPOWER 600W
FORTRON 700W Epsilon 80 Plus
ENERMAX 500W Liberty
FORTRON 700W EPSILON
CORSAIR 650W TX Series
SILVER STONE 600W Strider
THERMALTAKE TOUGHPOWER 700W
ZALMAN 600 WATT (the one with the heatpipes there is a review about in the site)
ENERMAX 600W Noisetaker2

edit: and some less powerful models, which I am sceptic about:

THERMALTAKE POWER SUPPLY TR2 POWER 550W
FORTRON 500W BLUESTORM-2

arround the VideoCard I also need to power up a
A8V Deluxe Motherboard
AMD4200+x2 CPU with TT Silent Tower
2*1GB DDR400
2*256MB DDR400
2*80GB SATA HDDs (expeting to install another 2 *250GB soon)
3*92mm case fans
2*DVD writers
a TV tuner and a Sound Card...

for now I am turning at the 600W Toughpower simply 'cause its the cheapest amongst the above mentioned and I have read some decent reviews about it...

My votes would go to the Corsair or either Toughpower.

All those PSUs are way more then what you need. Stepping up to the Fortron 450W PN would handle your system fine. Or go with the Corsair VX450.

Disagree with the FSP, agree with the Corsair.

The FSP offers a max of 30A on the combined +12v rails. That should be plenty of power for the system.

Sorry... I think Wolf was putting build quality ahead of how many amps are on the +12V. I know I would. ;)

10x for the help all, I'll go with the corsair 650W or the TT700W, they both are on the same price in the local shop so I'll buy which one is in stock :) The snaller ones u've recommended arent available on the market I have access to, good luck :)
