TT 750watt decent?

Hey guys.. I should've stopped by here before purchasing the TT W0117ru 750watt PSU. It's brand new and before I install it, I want your and Jonny's opinion.

I've read Jonny's review on the W0116 modular model and he seems to like the performance. However I was scared of the fact it failed a few times during the cold stage and didn't even work on test 6 in the hot box. I know my system probably won't be getting that hot, but I want to know if the PSU will handle my current rig:

Intel E2180 with 70%OC
Asus P5K-E
2GB DDR2
8800 GTS with 20%OC
2 SATA HDD's
1 DVD-RW
1 Floppy
3 120mm fans
4 80mm fans
DD-12V D4 water pump

I currently have a Hiper 580watt Type-R but I have a feeling my system is stressing it a bit. I know not to trust Speedfan much.. but it says the 12v rail is 11.4v.. and SiSoft says the same. Anyhow, I'm hopeing this new TT 750 will do the job with little effort.

Software readings aren't all that accurate. You should use a DMM to test the voltages.
Your current power supply has enough power and amps to power your system.

The only thing that's rock solid without a single glitch in my rig for the past 15 months of usage is my Thermaltake Toughpower 700w modular. It has powered a rather heavy OCed AX2 AM2 & X1950 XTX built, and now running 3.6 GHz E6420 & 740-1836-1900 8800 GT without breaking a sweat -the exhaust air is still quite cool despite hours of heavy loading, in my country's humid & hot tropical climate.

Thx jonny for your review backthen, that was the base of my purchasing decision, and it has proven its worth.

The 750W TT is enough to power your system twice over. :lol:

You should be fine sticking with the Hiper 580, even if its not the best unit its capable of powering that system ok..
