This would be great for my test rig!
It's hot swapable and I could either test, format, defrag, SATA or IDE drives
at the same time:D
I could use it to clone drives and boot up clients Pc's that have drive problems, plus you could use it on a setup that doesnt have any more room for a extra SATA or IDE drive.

What do you think:)http://www.masscool.com/masscool/Product.aspx?ID=259

WTF?
Who cares how long they have been out!?!
Did I say they were new? no.
All I said is I want one of these.
Because they have been out for a year, I'm not aloud to want one?
I asked opinions about me "useing" the product not how old they are:crazy:
Mabey I should keep things simple and not ask for opinions:p

If it works as advertised it could be pretty handy, I dunno how many times I've had HD's hanging out the side of my case, resting on boxes or whatever.

Matter of fact... my grandpa (God rest his soul) had one.

I remember him telling me about the one he used during the war. They would use it to keep information from the Kaiser and smuggle information about the pending Normandy invasion to Churchill.

After the war, my grandpa kept the device up on a shelf. When I was little, I'd go over to his house and he'd bring it down off the shelf, and let me hold it while he'd tell me his old war stories.

Every once in a while, I'd sneak into the dining room, grab one of the dining room chairs, climb up to the shelf and grab it to play with myself. I'd plug my hard drive into it, plug it into my USB drive.. all sorts of things that if my grandpa knew, he'd probably have another heart attack.

Ah... such memories. I believe when my grandpa died, they sold the device at an estate sale. It probably ended up with someone that knew nothing of it's history. *sigh* What a shame. At least I got the old drill press.
