help, thermaltake or ultra?

as per another post i'm building a friend a pc. i have everything ordered but the ps, thought i had my mind made up but now it has changed. my conclusion is that 1000w seems to be the sweetspot for future-proofing. so question is would you guys choose toughpower 1000w {modular} or x3 1000w? according to combined reviews toughpower seems to be better ps but ultra the better $ i'm trying not to put to much weight in price and just get the better ps but we're talking $100 difference

I consider the Thermaltake to be the better unit, but $100 is nothing to sneeze at and the Ultra is a very good unit in its own right. Only you can decide whether or not $100 is worth the slight edge in build quality on the Thermaltake, but if it were me I'd likely go for the Ultra.

Ok, thanks, went ahead and ordered the ultra. thats what i was thinking but didn't know if i was being biased because i own too. tough choice on prices to $199 one and $230 with $60 mail in rebate at another. decided to go with the guarenteed $199 though
