This is actually from a link I found in the "PC Power Supply Discussion" section of this forum. Thought it deserved it's own thread. Best deal I've ever seen on this PSU. I got mine when they first came out and the price was still low in the $230 range. Then the reviews came out and the price rose with the popularity. Thanx to Raptorr for the link:

I've purchased from these guys several times and never had a problem. I used to buy PC cases from them, instead of NewEgg, because they only charged an extra $5 for double boxing. I received too many damaged cases from NewEgg and these guys always did a good job with the double boxing.

Directron was Newegg before Newegg was Newegg. If you get the analogy. NOt sure why (other than the aweful page design) they stopped being such a big parts vendor. ANyway, I have used them as well for years and had excellent results.

Yeah. Good analogy. Newegg sort of "took over" even though all of these other vendors were already here and just as good, if not better, in my opinion. Certainly put my old workplace (TCWO) out of business. :(

Funny price on that unit. Notice the 800W is only $2.02 less. Hmm...

ClubIt is another really good company that seems to get little acknowledgment by a lot of people (their price on the Gigabyte 8800gt 256mb is impressive for the specs). Anyway, I froogled Ultra X3 1000w after I couldn't find a decent deal for the person asking about the 800w. I found the 1000w for $200, so I figured I would post it for them.
