k|ngp|n (not a newcomer to 3dmark hall of fame) set a new 3dmark06 record today of 23,000 on the dot. I guess nvidia even made a video of him - http://download.nvidia.com/downloads/nZone/videos/Overclocker_Priceless_360P.wmv

NVIDIA 680i SLI motherboard
Kentsfield b3/Conroe b1 @1.75v actual vcore/-100c loaded temps.
2 x 8800gtx SLI -40c to -45c approx 850-870/1150 Tek-9 ln2
CORSAIR DOMINATOR 8888 2gb
1 SILVERSTONE ZEUS 850W PSU 12v stayed at 12.3v load through all benches with max clocks.

His PSU of choice, just interesting I thought. Figured I would post about it. I would be lying if I said that didn't qualify as a celebrity endorsement for Etasis based PSUs in my mind :p

If memory serves me correctly, kingpin has always used SilverStone PSU's.

He had the record when SLI first came out and he was using an ST60F, I believe.

The psu doesnt factor into it does it? I mean assuming a unit can supply the amps and wattage any unit would allow him to do the same right? :confused:

Didnt think you were but I had to ask to make sure. It is a nice little factoid and a bit of a endorsement for the SS 850. :)
