antec smart power 500

I did a search & couldn't find any info on this power supply....what are your thoughts on it ...any info would be greatly appreciated

The Smart Power series is known for its extremely high failure rate, avoid them where possible.

EDIT: When working they aren't too bad of a PSU though.

Decent design with poor cooling resulting in some of the highest failure rates of all CWT based models due to capacitors that can't take the poor cooling.

I was looking to build an extra pc on the cheap & found one of these used for 60 bucks...thought I'd get your thoughts before I did anything...thanx for the help..I'll probally pass on it & keep looking
