Here (http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/forum/hardware-canucks-reviews/3048-antec-truepower-quattro-850w-vs-silverstone-decathlon-850w-review.html).
Nice one, SKYMTL. Thanks.
And I like your PSU testing methodology (http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/forum/23846-post1.html) too.
the Truepower Quattro is not a completely modular design; the ATX connector as well as the 4 and 8-pin CPU connectors and a pair of 6+2 pin PCI-E connectors are all attached to the power supply itself.
I wonder if this is to reduce possible voltage drops on the most important components (mobo & GPU). I recall arguements (PCP&C was involved as well as numerous people in forums) regarding the "evils" of modular cabling.

I think that can contribute to it. It is interesting that I saw larger voltage drops with the fully modular DA850 than I did with the TPQ 850W. While there doesn't seem to be an "evil" per se with modular cabling, I did notice a difference in the past between the OP650 and the DA650 which are essentially the same power supply with and without a modular interface.
