Need Help!

After installing my new PSU (Antec Earthwatts), the computer (Gateway 500GR) would not go past the initial boot screen. I reinstalled the old PSU, but it still does the same thing. I've checked all connections, but to no avail. Is this fixable?

So you knocked something loose while you were switching out PSU's.

I've checked and reseated everything, but it still does not work. Could it be a dead motherboard? How would I tell?

Try running the setup outside of the case first in a new build if possible (if you have switches). You might have a stand off shorting the board, so check for that. Also, strip down to a minimum system and see if you POST and make it to boot time. Try one stick of RAM at a time and check that your RAM voltage is high enough for the RAM.
