I have been researching my brains out and so far I can't find a PSU under $100 with all three of these features: 1. Modular 2. 120+mm fan 3. 80+ efficient... That's all I need. I would "prefer" 500w with a 36+ amps on the 12v rails(s). Any suggestions? If I "have" to give up one feature I guess it would be modular but I do have a large windowed case so good sleeving at the minimum. So that has me looking at the Silverstone ST50EF and the Enhance ENP-5150GH. Also, the new Corair 550vx but that seems a bit overkill for my modest needs (modern system with single GPU) Thanks in advance!

Corsair HX520 (http://www.buy.com/prod/corsair-520w-sli-certified-modular-atx-power-supply/q/loc/101/203270716.html) for $90 and free shipping.
for that price, you should be able to live without the 80-plus certification.

wow... I've checked around and I hadn't been able to find that PSU so cheap with free shipping... I will have to check buy.com more often... The $10 mail in sucks, barely worth the effort. As far as 80+ it isn't certified but looks about 82% efficient so thats good enough. I think I will skip the Silverstone and go for this deal unless anyone else has anything to add before I order tomorrow. Thanks.

Yeah, that's a great deal for that Corsair PSU. I just wonder why the exact same PSU costs 120 US$ here in Indonesia, much higher compared to US price, while FSP Bluestorm 2 (75 US$) & Silverstone Element ST50-EF Plus (82 US$) -after VAT 10%, not shipped- prices are within comparable range to what was priced in your country.
Perhaps they have to go around before reaching my country ? Taiwan - USA - Indonesia is not the most efficient way of distributing stuffs. :p

I guess not! I'm surprised you don't have any direct from Taiwan suppliers... So anyway, I ended up going with the Silverstone... $83.75 shipped from deadeyedata.com (use visitor code jonnyguru... Same day shipping too). It was simply too cheap for such a good quality unit that I will take the time to route the wires in my system... I say the Silverstone would be the best value for you in your case with your shipping issues.
