Has anyone seen a decent review on one? I haven't been able to find any.

I would like to see one, see if it can live up to its efficiency spec.

EDIT: And is it really single +12V rail?

Supposedly the reason is they are 230v only (well tehy are but making it full range would not be hard).......really I think their may be some political reasons why it isn't available here. Also fun to ask about is what happened to the 750JS?


Has anyone seen a decent review on one? I haven't been able to find any.

Depends on what you are looking for....Oleg or Chris will probably be the best bet to get a good review out since they are in Asia/Europe respectively but I don't think either has done one yet. Although there may have been one in a roundup...hmmm....let me think where I think I saw that at.

They said in the review while it will do 900watts it isn't exactly quiet at that kind of load. Is any psu quiet at that level ?

They also mentioned the Corsair 620HX peaks at 750w. Never knew that. Interesting.

The X3 1600w I had was fairly quiet at 900w :D

BUt really....normally no becuase it is such a great percentage of the capacity of the unit that by that point it is working very hard to cool it.

They also mentioned the Corsair 620HX peaks at 750w. Never knew that. Interesting.

Depedning on temperature the peak values and even sustianable values can be higher and lower than the label. The corsair is rated at 50c so at a higher temperature it will derate along a certain profile. At temperatures below 50c it would not suprise me if it could do more than 620w sustained to some degree.
