Review (http://www.silentpcreview.com/article684-page1.html) on SPCR.
Another Seasonic build. Interesting is at last SPCR test ripple and crossload.

Active Power Factor Correction (PFC) Reduces input current and allows a smaller UPS to be used. It would be nice if they knew what they were talking about.

Yeah. Pretty interesting. ;)

I had said to OKW yesterday w/ he posted this on the front page, "Look! Someone else has a Stingray!"

Lee Garbutt also got an upgrade and can now test larger PSU's.

If this keeps up and all of these PSU reviews keep improving, I can finally retire.

I think they do. I just think the paraphrase came out wrong.

To be fair, these earlier tests were done at 100% load, but we were amazed to find that the Earth Watts was quite happy to keep running indefinitely even with the voltage dropped to 80V!

Any idea why?

What? Why they were amazed? Don't know. A lot of power supplies will continue to function when you drop the input voltage to 80V.
