Was wondering about this PSU. I'm looking to upgrade from a Truepower II 430 I've had for a few years. However, not much info about this PSU. Anyone know anything about it? thx

Not really. Is your upgrade coming in the form of a new free unit from Antec in exchange for your True Power II?
In all seriousness, it's likely a Seasonic. Probably the same as a True Power Trio 650W but with modified heatsinks to work with the updraft 120MM fan (as opposed to the 80MM) and modular.
$159 seems a little steep for me. Dunno.... it's your money. ;)

It's only $119 shipped @ ZZF (http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=10006251&prodlist=froogle) :)

It's Seasonic. But does it have the same internals as the TruePower Trio 650w? That's the reason why I didn't get one yesterday. I got the Corsair 620w instead. :D
I still think the Antec NeoPower 650w Blue looks better...
Jonny! Find one, test it! See where it breaks!

This is what I got of information from antec tech support:
''You will have 624 watts of power aon the 12v rails.
It has 85% efficiancy just like the NeoHE.
You have 19A on each 12v rail and a total of Trhee (3) 12v Circuits.''
Please test it Johnny :P

The NeoHE really has <80% efficiency doesn't it? and it's not 80+ certified right?

If your looking at spending $119, for $129 right now CompUSA is selling the Quattro 850. At least they were this weekend. I bought one.

It isn't 80+ certified. I don't know how the results would look in at test.

It would appear that this unit is a TruePower Trio 650 with LEDs and modular cables.

Not really, it's a NeoPower 650 Blue not a TruePower 650... which, according to the Hardware Canucks review has upgraded internals over the TruePower. Various reviews prove efficiency is better than Corsair HX620 and TX750 under all but the heaviest loads. Regulation and ripple is excellent, comparable to Corsairs'... $110 shipped from provantage.com... Great deal I say.
How about a full review on jonnyguru? Seems like it's worthy of it.

<sarcasm> Now now... Don't you know that all Seasonic builds are exactly the same and that they're only marketed differently. Come on. You should just buy the cheapest Seasonic OEM product available. </sarcasm> ;)

heh.. exactly! Now (arguably) all Seasonic builds vary from adequate to excellent, but they do in fact vary... It's good to see the Antec's putting out a good mid-range model here. I couldn't resist picking one up at $110 shipped.... and YES the continuous output at 50 degree's proved it's one of the better builds and sold me.

not 80% certified material going off these reviews. 430w model doesn't hit 80% at all thoughmay be different in newer revisions:
http://www.silentpcreview.com/article273-page4.html
550w model >80% efficient generally but not at low loads, be 2-3% worse efficiency than this review in 110V testing:
http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/other/display/atx-psu5_6.html
interestingly there looks to be big changes by revision A4 to the circuit design, 550w model now looks to be 80plus goods, so maybe the other models are?

Well, my 650 NeoPower Blue just died. My system shut off during use, and wouldnt come back. So I jumpstarted the PSU and the 5V rail starts off fine and then sags to 4.5V shortly after. Figured I would post this info in case anyone else has a similar issue.
