Given a choice of either a Antec NeoHe 500watt or the Earthwatts 500 watt, which one would you choose? I know they both are Seasonic built, and the NeoHe has modular cords.
Thanks

I might add I'm doing a build for a unemployed individual, and I'm giving him parts at my cost. Not a gaming rig, going to have 1 video card, dual core processor, 2 drives, dvd burner. I have the earthwatts here and I have the NeoHe 500 here, they cost me about the same. I just want the most dependable parts for him. Thanks

1) The EW doesn't have a current limiter on the +12V rails, and I am not sure if the NeoHE is the same.
2) EW has 408W combined on the +12V rails and NeoHE has 456W
3) NeoHE is rated at 500W continuous output @ 50C ambient temperature

jonny's review of the EW380 was impressive.

I imagine that build quality and reliability would be similar. I would go with the EW because its more efficient.

EA 500. Not so fancy but it's a power horse.
