Since I haven't yet put the unit on the load tester, I have nothing more to offer than what you've already read on other review sites.
But I noticed that other review sites neglected to open, inspect and comment on the insides of the 3Y built OCZ EvoStream.
So....
From left to right.....
1. Modular interface close up.
2. There's a "spacer plate" installed on top of the two heatsinks on the top-most PCB. Note the two screw holes. The housing screws to this heatsink very much like the Zippy, but there is no TIM applied to help dissipate the heat to the cover.
3. The EvoStream is a very unique double-decker design. Not two PCB's facing each other like the Silverstone Zeus models, but one on top of the other.
4. This is the other side of the EvoStream.
5. All of the secondary caps are UCC/NCC. There are a few very tiny OST's scattered about.

Again, from left to right.....
1. One angle of the primaries. Note the little OST. That's about the size of all of them. Anything bigger is UCC/NCC.
2. Already looked up the UL. PloTech makes the PCB.
3. This wire harness connects the two PCB's. It's actually rather easy to disassemble this PSU after this harness is disconnected and four screws unscrewed.
4. Overhead shot of the primaries. They're only 100mF so there are three of them. They're much smaller, so fit well inbetween the two PCB's.
5. PloTech again. Some coils are mounted sideways.

Very nice - good to see something from an FSP related company using UCC caps. From what I can see if it, it looks like ripple won't be a problem for these but that remains to be seen yet.
I don't know what they're thinking going to the trouble of getting high quality Japanese caps and then cheaping out on the little ones though. Not a big problem at all, just annoying.
Edit - and I do believe that bad boy is independantly regulated :D

Looks solid. The insides seem to be very well organized. Why use OST's though? We all know from using MB's how crappy they are.

Wolf, the UCCs seem black in colour. Is that an 85 C rated one? The UCC/NCC in the Supermicro were Brown. The UCC/NCC in my Zippy are brown and a few I saw on an ASUS board were brown. What gives?

All the UCC's on the secondary look brown to me - probably KY series. The primaries actually look like Rubycon to me.

Ok... This photo is not staged.
I opened up the OCZ EvoStream to take the above photos.
I left it all taken apart on the coffee table.
I came back into the room a couple hours later and....

I guess she sees daddy tearing apart power supplies all day, it was only a matter of time.
She scratched the hell out of the titanium finish, though.
Here's the "oh crap! I got caught!" shot:

Just be glad she's not like me at that age... not only would that PSU be taken fully apart, anything else nearby would be too :D

Looks like we have a worthy successor! Maybe you could let her handle the more military looking units. Kids are very very smart and they love colourful things. If you have one of those Logisys units with the transparent case and yellow JEE Primaries, let the kidGURU have a go at it. :D

Actually, you just described the mobile that's hanging up in her room.

That's funny as heck. You need to start in on that one early before her school friends brainwash her with Barbie and stuff. The world needs more techincally proficient women.

That's not fair jonny. You know we will all fall for ChantelGURU :)
ATM you get to spend alot of time with her and you're blessed for it.
I can already see it..
<teacher> Ok what do you have for show and tell?
<chantel> This is a sunmoon sm8800. it lets you do 10 loads on 8 connectors at once. Now, this plug goes into here, dial in a static load of 28 amps, which is also 336 watts, put the fluke clamp-meter on it, and the fluke 110 multimeter, which is showing a range of 11.8 to 12.3. now if I take this stingray o-scope, plug it into this bnc, you can see that the ripple on 1k samples is going at 115mV, which is within safe limits... ... ...

Actually, the SM8800 has a built in ammeter/voltmeter.
The Fluke 336 and 110 would be on separate show-and-tell days.

Oh.. almost forgot....
I already emailed Ryan about this, but if anyone can figure out what connectors go to what rails on this thing, that'd be awesome. I've got 12V1 going to the CPU. 12V2 is the main ATX and the periperhal Molexes and 12V3 going to the PCI-e's, but haven't figured out 12V4. :(

Jon, I coudn't get any markings off of the caps on the Primary, what are they? Also, do you think cooling would be an issue (restrictive airflow) with a stacked unit like this one?

Don't know. And I got the thing right in front of me! There's no logos or brand names anywhere on it.
Also, do you think cooling would be an issue (restrictive airflow) with a stacked unit like this one?
No. Not really. It's really not as crowded in there as you might think.

Super that your little Angel takes interest, looks like it'll be tools for her birthday not dolls :-) Any idea when she has time to do the review :-)

"With the GameXstream being based on the FSP Epsilon, I would have figured OCZ would just slap a modular interface on the GameXstream and call it the next ModStream. Instead, OCZ took a ground floor approach and used yet another OEM..."

Jon, I'm not sure if 'lytics can be Polypropylene/Polyester caps. So, the PET should mean something else. I have not seen hybrid caps in such big cans as well. Mystery time... ;)

Yeah... those would be pretty big PET caps.
