Hello, I have a Zalman ZM600HP.

I noticed that:
+12V: ripples from 12.35V to 12.42V
+5V: stays still at 4.87V
+3.3V: ripples from 3.28V to 3.30V

Ripples caught by Asus Probe are ok: 70mV on the +12V and 20mV on the +3.3V rail; +5V looks rock solid. Actually, it is their setting that scares me.

Now, I'm a bit worried about the healthness of my hardware, you know, especially because of the +12V setting. It seems me fair too high.

I'm worried because I fear that overclocking my system with this unusual values could get me to do a tasty omelette.

What do you think?

Is there a way to fix them?

THX

Maybe I'm tired.... maybe it's the language barrier.... but I've cleaned this thread up now that (after eight posts) I know what you're getting at.

You have this power supply. You're concerned about the +12V being high. You also noticed that I had read a high +12V on the Zalman during my review of it as well.

You're also aware that you're not talking about "ripple" when you comment on the regulation on the +3.3V and +12V.

Now that that is all out of the way....

+12.42 is still well within spec. The spec calls for -/+ 5%. So for a +12V rail, that would be +12.6V.

And I would rather have the voltage slightly high than slightly low.

The important thing is the regulation is good, the ripple is minimal. Your components are "safe." :D

Ok, I didn't think my english was so bad. BTW, here is 3.00 PM. :)

Anyway, thanks, now that we have understood each other I got the answer I was asking for.

No.. your English isn't all that bad.

Then again, you're wanting to do a tasty omelette. ;)

I just can't remember all of the content within all of my reviews. I didn't remember that I was getting that high of a reading in the Zalman review and even commented about it. That was a long time ago in the grand scheme of things. :D

I sure hope I won't. :D
