Greetings from the Land of the Rising Sun!

I would require some expertise from you guys...
Your PSU lists include a formidable number of models and manufacturers, but unfortunately, most of the manufacturer names I see here in Japan, are completely different from those in the West. Now, I know they are just "re-labeled" models of something else, but in a couple of cases, I just can't scrape-up enough info about them to find a western-match.

Could you guys give 'em a quick look and give me a hint as for who makes the unit or what Western part is it equal to....? :)

Ok, the first one is HERE (http://www.keian.co.jp/products/products_info/xp_1100w/xp_1100w.html) and the second one, with much less info, is HERE (http://kuroutoshikou.com/modules/display/?iid=946).

The thing I'm most interested in is the rocker switch on the back of the first one, which is supposed to "combine" all the 12V rails into a single fat one. (For the same purpose, the second one uses a thing similar to Mushkin's "Rail-Fusion", which combines the 12V rails automatically if any of them gets overloaded. You can see a small blue LED on the back.)

When it comes to PSUs, you guys will probably be even able to read through the Japanese, but in case you're stuck somewhere, just tell me and I'll be happy to translate.

Easy.

Topower.

The "Rail Fusion" is the dead giveaway on the one, and the "Combined" LED on the other. ;)

And the silent engine label on the fans is a Topower giveaway.

Would that make them OCZ? PC Power & Cooling? ...?
Are they available in the West as well? (I'd like to dig up more info about them, especially the second one... A manual or a pdf spec sheet...)

That makes them Topower. Topower is the OEM for a number of companies so you find them under various labels. BFG, some old OCZ, Tagan after a fashion, ePower, Mushkin, etc, etc

Ok. I see. I was looking for a concrete manufacturer/model name so I could google them up or something and consult any other vendor's website for details...

Mmmmm.... I just looked through all of it and nothing really matches up. The Power Train is the closest one, but the power is lower and there's nothing there regarding the "rail-fusion"...

Then you may want to check www.mushkin.com. Their units are made by Topower and "Rail fusion" is one of their catch-phrases.

It's not uncommon for the specs on a rebranded Topower made unit to not quite match up with the specs on the Topower units at their site. It may be that small changes are made to the basic design or just that they have been rated differently...either under different conditions or less or more truthfully rated. There might be more similar units at http://epowertec.com/powersupplies.html
That's a subsidiary of Topower. The Xscale 1200 Jon tested did pretty good here: http://www.jonnyguru.com/review_details.php?id=53

But I do see some Seventeam units at that retail site...the ones with model numbers ending in EAD and EAJ there are ranked Tier 3 in Jons recommended list.

I wouldn't recommend Topower, there are better units for the money you'd spend on a Topower.

This one is the closest I can find: Spire RocKIT - SLI Series SP-1000W (http://www.spirecoolers.com/main/product_pow_detail.asp?ProdID=617)

Edit: Oops sorry, Spectre. The images of the Spire psu are now hosted at imageshack.

Good luck!
