Very disapointing. Was at least hoping for 650 Core and GDDR 4.

Very disapointing. Was at least hoping for 650 Core and GDDR 4.The GDDR3 they're using runs at the same clockspeed and lower latencies than most people's GDDR4 does. I don't think that should dissapoint you.

Core clock of 612MHz is very dissapointing, though. :(

Yea, "price : performance" relationship is kind of uneven for this card, leaning heavily towards the "price" part :D But hey, this is what you get when you have no strong competition for your certain product range :p

I stopped reading them because the benchmarks I wanted to see got confirmed from 3 different testers.

I just "wasted" 550€ on the evga 8800gtx KO ACS3, which performs exactly as a ultra (at default speeds).
