Old school: Ultra WIN-400PS

Looking for a donor for one of my mods, I came across this relic circa 02/2004....

We see it only has 18A on the +12V rail. Then again... SLI was 6800GT back then. :)

There's green plexi on three sides of the PSU, the fans are green UV reactive and there is a UV light ring installed on the bottom fan.

Inside, I think it's interesting that this Wintech built unit only has one heatsink! Or is that two screwed against each other? I didn't think you were supposed to do that.

The inverter for the UV light is installed on tall posts that push the inverter up into the opposite corner of the PSU.

You can see that these long studs actually hold this side of the PSU's main PCB down to the housing. I'm keeping these. They might come in handy for some mod down the road.
