Guaranteed that it won't touch the G80. Keep a lookout on the 3dmark leaderboards, ATI's cards won't be able to come close.

This thread might be of interest. Even though the ATI cards wont be top performers, this guy says that the ATI offerings will undercut Nvidia enough with prices that ATI will win the race anyways. Here's hoping, since competition is what keeps the prices down (and I kind of like ATI a bit more anyways as a company because they aren't stingy with their crossfire).

They aren't stingy with their crossfire because they aren't a big chipset manufacturer. What if they pulled crossfire support on Intel chipsets... It would only decrease sales on their video cards.
