This is based on what's available near me. Which would you choose (pretty much all will be overkill for my system, so it's more on price):

1. CoolerMaster iGreen 500W, $100 or OCZ PowerStream 600W, $90 (rebate)?
2. CoolerMaster iGreen 600W, $120 or OCZ GameXStream 700W, $115 (rebate)?
3. ThermalTake ToughPower 550W, $129 instead?
4. Mushkin HP-550, $89 instead?
5. Antec Smartpower 2.0 500W, $89 instead?
6. PC Power & Cooling Silencer 470, $109 instead?

Size does matter, this is going in a Qpack case (OCZs are 150mm long, so it will fit... don't know about the rest). My head is spinning from all the reviews I've been reading, so any advice is appreciated. The first 2 are at a store that's much closer to me than the rest. Also, mail order is out... I chopped up all my credit cards. :)

Edit: I think the PCP&C is #1 on my list currently. So maybe I don't need advice after all... Still, any thoughts appreciated.

OCZ PowerStream 600W, $90 (rebate)No questions asked!

The TT ToughPower would be my second choice.

Good Luck,
Dave ;)

Won't fit in the X-Qpack.

That'll work.

The Cooler Master 600W would be a good choice too. Acbel makes a good unit.

Any from #2 or #3 would be my suggestions... the Powerstream is an old and often flaky Topower design.

The PC P&C is OEM Seasonic - I'd look for actual Seasonic first to save a little cash.

Oops, I misread the OCZ dimensions... 175mm long.

I've bought Seasonics at Fry's before... I'll have to see what they have. Looks like the S12-500 might be a good choice? Might as well put my system specs:

Foxconn 6150 microATX board
AMD Athlon64 X2 4800+
4x512 RAM
2 SATA HDs
2 optical drives
and eventually a PCI-express videocard (X1950 Pro?)

If you're buying this stuff at Fry's, get the Ultra Micro Fly case instead of the Aspire X-Qpack.

Fry's has them both.

The Micro Fly is 1.5" deeper than the Aspire so it accepts more PSU's and optical drives and costs the same.

Just to add, I would drop the Mushkin from the list entirely. I don't think I'd get the HP-550 even if somebody paid me to own one. :D

My bad, I forgot the PowerStream 600W still exist! :o

I meant the OCZ GXS 600W for $90 or less! With the TT ToughPower ($129) as my second choice. :D

I wanted to get the Micro Fly, but a friend gave me the Qpack for cleaning off his spyware... can't beat free! I have the rest of the stuff already (except the videocard, but that's a future purchase anyway).

Thanks for the advice guys!
