Somebody who knows something about them? Homepage (http://www.tacens.com/).
Valeo series seems to be Andyson (like Aerocool Zero-dBa), Aeris is full copper  and Radix?

Never heard of them.
The housing certainly does look like an Andyson, though.

Their pdf says "EMI Filtering in PCI-E cables". IS there something special involved or is it just a fancy way of saying "We use double-shielded cables" ? :)

No. That's when they have the ferrite cores on the end and there's a couple ceramic caps going from the 12V to ground at the back of the connector.

I'm trying to get one through my alter ego. I'll let y'all know what happens either way.
I disected one of those "shielded pci-e" cables, and it consists of the appropriate 12v's, a normal ground, 1 ground without any plastic coating over the wire (bare wire) and hooked up to the braided wire cabling bit (the thing under the plastic covering), and 1 bare-wire ground. The +12v wires had electrolytic capacitors, and the ground's had ceramics. Then it's the thick rubbery plastic coating over the wires, a rather large iron ring around that, and heatshrink.
The cable was made by topower, gutted from an ocz powerstream.

Yeah. Topower does that to all of their power supplies and is usually an indicator that they are the manufacturer.
