I'm not as well versed in the OEM's of PSU's like alot of the guys here on this forum, but jG's list doesn't show Athena Power, but it does show Athenatech which is not the same outfit.
The reason why I'm asking this, I've noticed the AP-P4ATX85FE looks
somewhat like a Zippy + or - a few things{I'll probably get flamed for that one:p }
Their site is not very helpful on amperage rateings,
but I found them at Newegg.

+3.3v-35A +5v-68A +12v-58A

+3.3V-+5v Max combined output 288w
All peak output
Peak surge output wattage 905w@ 25C ???

The 3.3v and the 5v lead me to think this is just another server PSU
adapted for Quad SLI

Anyhow,does anybody know:confused:

AP used to be Topower, but not sure. What I do know is I don't trust them. Especially with a 5v rated at 68A. I think I'd "peak surge" right past them ;)

And you can take that to the bank:D

Went over to Newegg to refresh my memory - the UL file number is one digit off Topower's. 130843 is Topower, while this unit looks to bear the number 130443 which doesn't trace.

Could still be Topower, could also be something that's just meant to look like one.

Link pulled from the PSU Forum over at badcaps.net. Not the best but it is something, a bit old, posted 10/05.

As OK Wolf stated. A high 5V wattage is a red flag for a desktop PSU. One has to ask why when it's that high. :)
