Hi,
Newbie on the site and wanted to start by thanking everyone for the posts and reviews that helped my choice of power supplies. I got the Silverstone ST50EF-Plus SC for my SFF build. The unit has two PCI-E 6 pin connectors, but I will never run more than one video card, so I am wondering if there is a way to convert that unused PCI-E cable to something like an extra SATA power connector? And how would it be done? Your input is appreciated.

Thanks,
GermanBeer

This IS your PSU. http://www.enhanceusa.com/file/115_specification.pdf
Look at the bottom of the page. PCI-E is 3x12V and 3Xground. Now look at SATA. 1x12V, 1xground, 1x5V, 1xground and 1x3.3V. So no it can not be done.
SATA at the present time only uses the 12V & 5V but 3.3V will come into play in the future...I guess. :)
Just buy a couple of Y' connects for SATA.

Thanks, that's an excellent illustration of the power supply connections and explains everything.

Well if you've only got one PCI-E connector free, then no as GY stated.
