Quadro FX 4600 - 8800GTS PCB, 768MB GDDR-3, 384-bit, bandwidth of 57.6 GB/s, clock 1.2 GHz.
Quadro FX 5600 - 8800GTX PCB, 1.5GB video memory, clock at 1.6GHz.

that's just silly, hopefully the price of others will now get squashed

the graphics card equivalent of a 2kw psu:D

that's probably more ram than 90% of pc users have, and probably costs more than most pc's, too, praps I will get a pair in 5 yrs when they are affordable

ati really is playing catch up in both grafix and chipsets

I would love to do away with intel and nvidia, and go amd/ati all together, but its a confidence thing ( I feel much more comfortable with an nvidia chipset, dunno why), and they seem to be leading the way

its all....'mine's bigger than yours', no mine...no yours...nividia and ati

I think I will jump off now, can't keep track of it all:confused:

makes you look a bit inadequate, doens't it? Wasn't long since parts of my rig were pretty cutting edge, 1.5 yrs ish...

be 8 core chips b4 you know it, and 1kw psu's will be the norm, I wonder how long until the psu becomes the limiting factor
