Please help me choose between these four models:

1. Silverstone ST75ZF 750W
2. Thermaltake ToughPower 850W
3. TOPower 750W
4. Seventeam 750W

Thanks in advance!

Oooh... That's tough.

I'm going to say no on the Topower. Just bad personal experience.

Toss up between the Toughpower and Zeus.

The Toughpower is supposedly 100W more, but I have a thought that they're fibbing about the +12V output (which I found out they were doing with their 750W when I got a chance to help review the 2theMax 750W for Modders-Inc which is the EXACT SAME PSU.)

So assuming they put out the same max power, the Thermaltake is quieter with it's mammoth 140MM fan. But the Zeus has better voltage regulation and is built like a tank.

Does that help or are you more confused? ;)

Oh well.. There you go! :D

EDIT: Whoa! Where did that Seventeam 750W come from? That wasn't there before.

What country are you in? What 750W? Got a link?

I'd say Zeus or Seventeam as first choices, then TT.

@jonny

thank you so much for your inputs! i live in the philippines but i'm going to singapore next week where i'm going to buy the Silverstone ST75ZF. ;) the only potential problem with the Zeus is i will have a hard time hiding the cables since its not modular like the Thermaltake Toughpower.

Zeus gets my vote also from all the JG - Reviews and what you listed.

Hiding cables is dependant on -

1. Your case design
2. If ur willing to dremel
3. If u will use cable-ties along with mounts or with the holes provided by the case or mods you make
4. Your creativity with 2 + 3
5. The effort you put into it

You can try to hide the extra cables (in most cases) -

1. On the left side of the PSU (ATX build)
2. Behind the motherboard tray
3. Between the psu and 5 1/4 bays.
4. Lead them directly into the free 5 1/4 bay slot.

Do a quick google search and you will be amazed at how well some ppl hide their cables =oP

I'm going to play devil's advocate here and say SevenTeam. Having played with one I know that they have HUGE 12V power reserves and are very clean as far as ripple goes. This is the EAX though so YMMV but if it's another SSI (the EAZ for example) I'd bet it's just as clean.

I was waiting for you to chime in and suggest the SevenTeam. When he added that as a #4 choice I was like, "whoa! Hold on a minute!" :D

I need to get you one for another jonnyguru.com review! :D
