I'm the owner of Deadeye Data. I've received alot of email from jonnyGURU members since our store was mentioned here in the forum. To show our appreciation for your interest, I have worked with SilverStone to put together a special discount on their PSUs for jonnyGURU members. Until December 31st, all members will receive an additional 8% off SilverStone power supplies, even on items already on sale. Use this link (http://deadeyedata.com/shop/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=7_33&visitor_code=JONNYGURU) and the discount will be applied during the checkout process.

Kind regards to all,

Jennifer

You're also the only 50+ I know that says "my bad." ;)Posted at EOC & [H]ard.

We need a few to test over at DFI-Street so we can certify them for DFI mobos.

Although I have never used these PSU's their reputation is excellent & their OEM's are among the best.

They certainly have my recommendation!

LOL! I asked her to arrange a discount for JG forum members when I contacted her, but the reply back then was negative.

Glad Jennifer finally see the light and is offering us this deal. Sweet! :D

Thanks! Jennifer.

Can anyone tell me if the discount is before or after tax/shipping?

I really liked the prices from frozencpu, but with all the glowing recommendations I've read about them (and they're cheaper than frozencpu) I'd love to pick up a new Zeus 850!

Deadeye Data has been having HUGE server issues for the past few days. The site has been down then up then down then up, and I'm afraid its finally down for the count. This includes all email as well as the store. We are moving to a complete different data center with a new company and hope to resolve this issue once and for all this week. Right now, the current company is swapping our server for completely new hardware and we hope to be back up and running by 11:00 pm. If you experience any issues, or want a price quote, or want to place an order, please feel free to email me at my alternate email deadeyedata @ gmail . com (bless Google. They're never down :) ) Thanks so much everyone for the support and the patience!

The site is absolutely, postively unborked. I think.

I tested and tested and tested the site after moving it. What I failed to test was the link. Its either not enough sleep or I'm a complete moron - either answer will do ;)

Many thanks for bringing it to my attention!

jennifer
11-30-2006, 10:33 PM
Yes, that is absolutely what borked means. I don't know what I did to anger the server gods, but I sure did it good. We recenly moved to a bright, shiny, new private server to avoid problems, and today the motherboard went toes up. Now we've had a complete hardware swapout to even brighter, shinier, and newer stuff, and we are bck up and running. For how long, only the server gods know. I will be in the front row of church this Sunday.

jennifer, if I may be so bold, Gary Stofer of http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/ ships Internationally. He is a small volume vendor. You might consider asking him the easy way to do it. He is very friendly and I guess he would be eager to help.

About deadeye data. Apparently the owner of the company, Jennifer, is giving us a great deal, and I was thinking that those of us who have engaged in business with deadeye data should go over to resellerratings.com and pitch in the good word for her and her company. Deadeye Data only has about 7 lifetime reviews, so a little help from those of us here who have experiences with Deadeye Data should be able to increase that by at least 100-200%.

Excellent thought Ta!

Everyone uses ResellerRatings to bitch when things don't go their way, but only about 5% of happy customers post their positive experiences. If you've ordered from D.E.D and are happy, please let everyone know!

Yes jennifer thanks. For your coming on here, I've now informed 5 forums of this already and the mods (who are technicians) looked upon it with favor :) We basically advise on PSU's daily, and point to places where users should search or pick them out ourselves. Ones Techsupportguy, one's Techsupportforum and anothers Tek-Tip if you were curious. ;)

Last Thursday I ordered the ST50EF-Plus from Tux Computers, which seems to be the same company as Deadeye. I have been a Jonnyguru review reader for a while, but unfortunately, I never bothered to read the forums so I didn't get the discount. My only gripe is that standard shipping cost $12.82 when it seemed to have been shipped from a Silverstone warehouse in City of Industry, only about 30 miles away from me. However, at $91.87 total, it was still by far the best price I could find.
Jennifer, if you're reading this I was the guy who made you fix your credit card verification on Thursday night. :D

I take it the 8% deal on Silverstone PSUs is still going on? I'm looking to upgrade my PC and I think a new PSU is in order for my upcoming 2900xt. My last PSU purchase was from Deadeye and I'd gladly make it there again after the good price and quick shipping I got the last time :)
