Okay, helping a friend find a new power supply for his system. He has ...

3 HDs (2 IDE, 1 SATA2),
1 DVDRW drive,
an EVGA 7900GT,
x2 4400+ (skt 939, cooled by a Scythe Ninja, stock fan),
Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe,
X-Fi Fata1ity Platinum,
TV2000XP (Leadtek) TV card,
and will have at least 4 USB devices plugged in constantly,
all contained within a Thermaltake Armor case (4 120mm fans).

His budget for a power supply is around $90, absolute maximum .. and he wants the following features:

- Sleeved cables (not just the ATX)
- Good efficiency (75% or higher)
- Quiet fan (as quiet as possible without being fanless)
- Decent aesthetics (no ugly-duck gray-jobs ;) )
- Modular / non-modular, no preference.

He plans on doing some minor overclocking on the CPU and graphics card, but has no plans for SLI.

My thoughts:

- Seasonic S12-380 (sleeved cables version) @ Case-Mod, $70 shipped (with Froogle link).

- Antec NeoHE 380w @ NeutronExpress, ~$70.

Any other units you guys might recommend?

Thanks!

I read somewhere on SPCR that the 430 and 380 are basically the same unit - any reason I should convince him to spend the extra money and get the 430? I seriously doubt he'll ever be pushing 380, let alone 430...
