Now, we’ll do the load testing. This will go the same way it did for all the other units in this range, with the same equipment.

First, the standby tests. Efficiency looks great, well above average.
2.2% is the magic number when looking at the voltage regulation. It’s nothing special, but above average and more than good enough for our purposes.

You will be absolutely shocked… shocked I tell you… when you find out that this unit performed exactly like a Seasonic, here. Efficiency is a fairly clean pass for Titanium, with test three needing my help to get the pass as usual for this efficiency level. Sue me… I have a $300 power meter, not a $3000 one.
Voltage regulation? Awesome, of course. Seasonic promised mythic level regulation and delivered once again. 0.39%, 0.40%, and 0.17%. It’s ridiculous that these numbers have become so mundane to me now, but that’s where we are in the industry. Damn near every Seasonic can do those numbers to the point I end up yawning nonstop through these reviews, yet everybody else save for a few like Corsair and EVGA are still trying to work out how to get there consistently.
It’s good to be Seasonic right now, isn’t it?
The fan operated exactly where you see asterisks above. Never got that loud that I could tell.
