Oops! I forgot to take the sticker off the medallion. The VENGEANCE 400W looks just like the 500W and 650W variants. It has a matte black finish with a slight texture to it. The label also has a matte finish and is done in black, white, and yellow.
On the rear of the unit, we have the standard hexagon style mesh. Not much to talk about when it comes to the front of the PSU.
Inverting the side labels on the left side is done so that if the PSU is mounted in either an upper or a lower mount; the label facing the right side will always be right side up. Unfortunately, some user’s have their windows on the left side of the case, which means they get to clean off the sticker or mod it.
Looking at the bottom or is it the top? Anyways, looking at the fan side, we find a 120mm fan with a standard wire grille. Man, if I keep using the word “standard” you’re going to think that it’s the brand name or something.

|Max Power @ 40°C||110W||399.6W||9.6W||15W|
Looking at the table above, we can see the VENGEANCE 400 has three +12V rails with each rated at 25A’s with a combined rating of 33A’s. Their combined wattage rating is 399.6W’s. The minor rails are rated for 20A’s each with a combined wattage rating of 110W’s. We have a max power rating of 400W’s @ 40°C.
Here we have the fixed cables laid out. It’s nice to see that Corsair has opted to fully sleeve the cables and also used black wiring. This makes it nice for anyone who cares about aesthetics while still wanting to stay with a budget PSU.
Here we have the main ATX 24 (20+4) pin connector and the EPS/ ATX 12V 8 (4+4) pin connector.
We have two PCI-e 8 (6+2) pin connectors.
There are two SATA cables with two connectors each. The peripheral cable has three 5.25″ drive connectors and yes Wolf, that’s a connected Berg connector.
