Now that the basement is relatively free of annoying insects again, here’s a look at the unit. Same styling as big brothers. I like it.

Another angle for a better look.

Once again, this is a Seasonic KM3 based unit, so this view should come as a surprise to no one. Lots of ventilation space on this side.

Inverted graphics on the sides, once again.

And a look at the fan grille. It still looks good to me.

Once more, Cooler Master has rated this unit at forty degrees. Once more, I will try for fifty in the hot box, because I know this platform can handle that.

Being fully modular, there are no cables at all to obscure this shot. Nice.

As was the case with the two other V series units, most of the modular cables are black ribbon cables. I have no quarrel with those – still my preferred way of doing it.

Unlike the other two units, however, the sleeving on the ATX cable has pulled away from the heatshrink and zip tie securing it. I’ll have to deal with that. Has to be an isolated incident, as I haven’t seen it happen with any other Seasonic built unit.

An up-close look at two of the cables.

The only difference between the cabling of this unit and the 850W version is one single PCI-e cable. That’s all. This one supports only four PCI-e connectors, that one supported six.

“I am Bugulon Thugulon, second of his name, destroyer of humans. Have you seen my father?”

Oh, for Pete’s sake. Here, join him in the vacuum cleaner. You two can make a movie together. Just walk from one side of the vacuum cleaner bag to the other on film, do a bunch of implausible crap designed to sell the video game, and I’m sure you’ll make a fortune. Oh, wait, no it won’t.
